Wake up from your 3rd party nightmare

Katie is a senior living community executive director (not in real life but for the sake of this common example.)  Katie’s been in senior living long enough to be fed up the 3rd party lead “providers.” In Katie’s world of “shoulds” she believes everyone in senior living should lead from the heart, should put the needs of seniors and their families first, and should not pad their pockets on the backs of seniors.

Katie has listened to her colleagues in the industry moan and groan about the hundreds of thousands of dollars they spend on those 3rd party giants each year only to have their individual brand reputations tainted by the experience.  According to Katie, the only thing worse than the money those providers suck from her already tight budget, is how they make the process so confusing for families who reach out for help. Even though the family believes they are calling her community, they get return phone calls from a bunch of random communities they’ve never heard of. UGH!

There are many things Katie dislikes about those 3rd party “providers” like they fact that they are so big they don’t even know her name or her community’s name!  She doesn’t like how they send her unqualified leads and how they handcuff her to a long-term contract. If a family visits Katie’s community today but don’t move in for another 2 years, she still have to pay that “other place” WAY too much money!

Answering inquiries for your community is what our Family Advocate Managers (FAM team) love doing, even on most holidays. Thanksgiving and Christmas Day are the only two days we close up shop. We believe all of our team members deserve time with their families. By the next morning, FAM is right back at it to follow up on any inquiries that may have come in the day before.
