Your Guide for Argentum

If you’re feeling inspired about learning more industry insights, gain new tools to better care for seniors, and disrupt the industry, here’s your chance. The Argentum Senior Living Executive Conference will convene in just a few weeks, and it’s time to get your game plan in place. With three days packed with events, you’ll want a head-start on mapping out the sessions you won’t want to miss. Not registered yet? Check out rates and sign up here.

If you haven’t booked your flight or lodging, it’s time! There are a variety of places to stay, plus the hotel reservation deadline has been extended to May 6th. Book through Maritz Global Events for a guaranteed room(s).

Study the event schedule and highlight your top must-see sessions. You and your team might go with the intention of attending every single event, which is a wonderful, but nearly impossible goal. Conference fatigue is a real thing, so know yourself and your energy levels and prioritize which speakers or panels you definitely want to make time for. You can even use this My Show Planner tool featured on the conference site.

Split up your most coveted events among your team. Traveling with colleagues is not only fun, but it’s also a good way to divvy up the work. Parcel the sessions so that you get restful breaks, time to network, and opportunities to explore downtown Minneapolis when you need a mental sabbatical.

Define your company pain points. Conferences are an excellent time to meet with vendors who have the solutions to your community’s biggest pain points. Take the opportunity to stop by exhibit booths or talk with vendors about solutions that can help your company move the needle where you need it most.

Attend some of the popular networking events. The opening reception, A Celebration of Our Community, is a great way to kick off the conference and get to know more industry peers. If you love food trucks, there’s a street fair mixer on Tuesday evening. For the early risers, morning fitness activities are held, starting at 6:00 AM. Message us if you want to know about our secret party we’re hosting before the conference.

Prepare for evolving health and safety protocols. Being members of the senior living industry, we already have a deep understanding of keeping healthy and protecting those in our care. However, it’s never a bad idea to stay up-to-date on conference requirements. And, in a crowded convention setting, having your mask and sanitizer handy just makes good sense.

Meet some of our SeniorVu pros. Get to know our own Chad Hudson who will be delving into cybersecurity to keep you company and seniors safe in the digital world. Mark your calendar for Reduce Your Risk – Best Practices for Identity and Password Management for Senior Living Operators on Tuesday, May 17th. We’d love to meet you!

Watch last year’s event online. Stream and download the 2021 conference to brush up on recent sessions of note and help determine your top speaker choices for 2022.

Enjoy. The Argentum Senior Living Executive Conference may be your only time this year to connect with peers and get reinvigorated by meeting with new industry friends. Keep your heart open to the possibilities and let it be a reminder as to why you do what you do: because you love what you do. Because caring for our seniors is not only the right thing, but an amazing privilege.

Happy Holidays

Answering inquiries for your community is what our Family Advocate Managers (FAM team) love doing, even on most holidays. Thanksgiving and Christmas Day are the only two days we close up shop. We believe all of our team members deserve time with their families. By the next morning, FAM is right back at it to follow up on any inquiries that may have come in the day before.

What about all those other holidays? Rest assured SeniorVu has your time zone covered from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on each of the following holidays:

Black Friday
Christmas Eve
New Year’s Eve & Day
Martin Luther King Day
President’s Day
