3 Layers of Goodness

They say that cooking is an art, but baking is a science. (“They” may or may not be our mom who majored in food science.) That’s because when you bake something–whether it’s a melt-in-your-mouth pie or chocolaty cookie–you’re using a tried-and-true formula that has proven to be successful. And when you have a secret recipe, watch out, because you’ll have hungr hungry hippos lining up at your door wondering how on earth you do it.

Not to brag (okay, just a little brag), but the lead conversion recipe we’ve whipped up at SeniorVu has a lot of people asking what our secret is. So, we decided to give you a little peek into how we create a perfect lead conversion. It’s a three-layer system (think pie) that always comes perfectly baked and leaves you wanting more.

Lead Generation (The Crust)

Just like pie, it starts with a delicious foundation. For us, that’s lead generation. We start by pulling out the best leads specifically for your community. To do that, we put together a profile of your “ideal” resident and engage our proprietary scoring algorithm to find the perfect future residents (and their adult children) out of our database of 82 million records. Then, we drive those leads to marketing pieces we’ve created that highlight your community, its benefits, pricing and more.

Lead Qualification (The Filling)

Next comes the stuff that makes you go “mmm.” That’s our lead qualification. As soon as your leads react to your marketing pieces by calling for more information or filling out a form saying they’re interested, they’re met by our dedicated call center of Family Advocate Managers (FAMs). When our FAM team gets an inquiry about your community, they respond to that lead within five minutes. The goal of the first conversation is to confirm the qualification of the lead—making sure they are a fit for your community financially, geographically, health-wise, etc. If the team can’t connect with the lead right away, they’ll try again. And again. And Again. Our goal is to get that lead on the phone to have an introductory conversation as soon as possible. Speed to lead matters. There are few in the industry as good as we are, plus, it gives the potential future resident a taste of your community’s magic.

Lead Nurturing (The Topping)

Finally, we have the cherry on top, the finishing touch, the extra step that transorms a simple dessert into something spectacular. After we’ve qualified a lead for you, we don’t just drop it on your plate. We court your leads, position you and your team as valuable resources for your leads and their families, working with them to learn more about their needs, goals and future plans. Over time, we gather as much information as possible to create a complete profile of that particular lead so you know them as a person—not just as a name and phone number. Once that lead is ready to visit your community, we schedule the tour for you. Then, we hand off the lead to you on a silver platter.
